Back to Portrush and back to see if we could catch any golfers in the Harbour Bar. We met Aubrey and Eline from Ballymena instead. They were having a night away from their two boys Max 5 and Harry 8 (I may have got ages wrong). Aubrey had been to NZ for the Lions tour in 2011. He said he did not recall too much but he knew he had a great time. One of his group tried to get into the X-ray machine at one airport - that gives you some idea of their state. Aubrey is a builder and Eline a school teacher. They have just bought a holiday place in Portrush last year. People are so friendly and we loved chatting with them.
Home to blog, and phone call to Mum/Jeni in Bunderin hospital near Noosa. She is okay. No fall, just dehydrated and perhaps a 24 hour vomiting bug which never goes down too well at nearly 90.
